UADA names new director of member relations

SALT LAKE CITY, UT, April 6, 2023 – The Utah Aerospace and Defense Association (UADA) has named Nicole Hopkins as director of member relations and community partnerships. Hopkins brings a wealth of experience building inter-business relationships and finding staffing solutions.

Why it matters

As Utah’s economy continues to flourish, a labor shortage heavily impacts companies competing in defense markets. Hopkins will be responsible for leveraging the collective talents of members and partners to advocate for workforce development systems. While maintaining strong relationships with UADA members, Hopkins will identify and create connections with community organizations and service providers that align with UADA’s mission and values.

“Nicole will play a key role in helping our organization build the world’s premier ecosystem for aerospace, defense and security companies in Utah,” said UADA President and CEO, Aaron Starks. “She brings a great understanding of the work and will support our partners and companies in their efforts to overcome the challenges facing our industry.”
