Kyle is a tenured professor at Utah Tech University (formerly Dixie State University) and serves as the Dean of The College of Business. He has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah and is a licensed professional engineer (PE). He received an MBA from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona and a Ph.D. in Finance from the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. After a visiting professorship at the University of New Mexico, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance and Economics, Kyle was hired at Dixie State University. He moved into administration in 2012 after building a bachelor’s program in Finance. He serves on several private and public boards, including the Zion Forever Project. In 2018 he wrote and was awarded an Economic Adjustment Assistance grant from the Economic Development Administration (EDA), resulting in the creation of Atwood Innovation Plaza at Utah Tech University.
