Supply Chain Resiliency

UADA PROMOTES AND SUPPORTS THE EFFORTS THAT HELP TO MAKE BETTER SUPPLY CHAIN RESILIENCY

We have all experienced the fragility of our global supply chains in recent years – unfortunately, Utah companies were not immune from the supply shortages and product delivery delays caused by manufacturing shutdowns.

For the Aerospace & Defense industry, having secure, safe, and timely supply chains is essential. Our companies service clients and partners around the world building critical infrastructure and military technologies that rely on resilient supply chains.

In partnership with the Utah Inland Port Authority, UADA advocates to make Utah the logistical hub of the west through developing the infrastructure and resources companies need to expedite shipments to the coast, seamlessly.

We understand that almost 30% of the nations freight flows through the I-70, I-80, and I-15 corridors which creates opportunities for the state to capitalize on an inland port where cargo can be fast-tracked to communities throughout the state from intermodal facilities – we will continue to support the development of these initiatives to aid companies on and off the Wasatch Front.

Last, we have partnered with freight forwarders and drayage companies to ensure that our companies qualify for and receive the best rates and services possible. This includes legal counseling and ITAR compliance needed for shipments.
